Meet the Board
The BioSphere board consists of students from each of the undergraduate Claremont Colleges who share a passion for science education, student research, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Stella Ruebel
Stella is an Engineering major at Scripps College hoping to specialize in bioengineering with an emphasis on sustainable technology. In her free time, Stella loves to ski, hike, learn new languages, and cook with her friends.
Audrey Granger
Audrey is a Biochemistry major at Scripps College passionate about pharmacology and drug development. In addition to academics, Audrey enjoys arranging music for the Claremont Shades A Cappella, reading classics, and café hopping.
Christina Kam
Christina is a Molecular Biology major and Economics minor on the pre-med track at Pomona College. Christina loves to run and hike, go to concerts, and try new cafes.
Sienna Bone
Sienna is a Mathematical and Computational Biology major at Harvey Mudd College and a member of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps swim and dive team. In her free time, she enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and spending time with friends.
Koa DeLeon
Koa is on the pre-health track at Pitzer College, majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Asian American Studies. Outside of academics, she plays for the Pomona-Pitzer women's soccer team and enjoys reading and drinking coffee.
Danah Plair
Danah is an Integrated Sciences and Government dual major on the Pre-PA track at Claremont McKenna College. She enjoys studying environmental science. In her spare time, Danah loves reading and binging TV shows.
Asha Laszuk
Asha is a Chemistry major at Scripps College. At Scripps, Asha works in the Pan Lab and conducts research on colloidal nanocrystals. In her free time, Asha loves playing pickleball, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
